RAJMA RICE

Ingredients + Measurements

1 Cup rajma soaked overnight and drained.
3 Cups of cooked rice
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp sliced onions
1 pinch hing
½ tsp ginger garlic paste
½ cup chopped tomatoes
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander

Method Of Preparation

Heat the oil in pressure cooker add cumin seeds and hing and saute on medium for a few seconds
Add the onions and ginger garlic paste saute on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander cumin seeds powder and salt, mix well and cook on medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes
Add the rajma and 1 cup of water, mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
Add the cooked rice, mixed gently and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
Add the coriander and mix well.
