Ingredients + Measurements
- 1 Cup rajma soaked overnight and drained.
- 3 Cups of cooked rice
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp sliced onions
- 1 pinch hing
- ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp coriander seeds powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Method Of Preparation
- Heat the oil in pressure cooker add cumin seeds and hing and saute on medium for a few seconds
- Add the onions and ginger garlic paste saute on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander cumin seeds powder and salt, mix well and cook on medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes
- Add the rajma and 1 cup of water, mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
- Add the cooked rice, mixed gently and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the coriander and mix well.
