Ingredients + Measurements
- 1 Cup whole wheat flour 50- 70gms
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 Small bunch spinach
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 60 gms paneer
- 1 tsp amchur powder
For dough
- To blanch the spinach , take enough water in the pan and bring it to a boil. Once the water comes to boil, add spinach leaves in it to cook for 2-3 mins. Then turn off the stove.
- Immediately drain the water using a strainer . Run the cold water over it . Grind the blanched spinach with ginger and garlic paste.
- Make a smooth paste without adding any water.
- Take wheat flour, salt and sesame seeds in a bowl and mix.
- Add oil and prepared spinach puree..
- Mix really well using finger tips.
- Now add little water at time and knead into smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and rest for 15 mins.
- After the dough, divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
- Take crumble or grated paneer in a bowl add salt, amchur powder.
- Take one dough ball, flatten it rolling board and roll into a 4 inch diameter circle using a rolling stick.
- Place the stuffing in the centre.
- Pinch into the centre to seal it. Flatten it out using fingers by pressing lightly.
- Dust both the sides using dry flour and roll into a 6-7 inch diameter circle.
- Heat the tawa , once hot placed paratha n cook for 30-40 seconds. Flip it by using a spatula and apply tsp oil on top of the surface and do it from the other side as well.
- Serve hot
